Welcome.

My name is Julian Marenz and I am a 4th year PhD student in economics at London Business School. I work on the intersection between international trade and spatial economics, with applications in contemporary economics and economic history. My research examines how policy in advanced economies transmits to developing and emerging economies through multinational enterprises, and how the organization of these firms shapes international trade. In the historical context, I study how globalization affected societal and economic outcomes in England and colonial Africa using original primary data.
